Listen to the Little Stuff

Listen earnestly to anything your children want to tell you, no matter what. If you don't listen eagerly to the little stuff when they are little, they won't tell you the big stuff when they are big, because to them all of it has always been big stuff.

  4. The importance of stay at home Moms in our society is underrated. Moms who have the opportunity to stay home and raise their children are blessed indeed. The rewards are many and will become more evident as they grow into happy, well adjusted, loving people.

  6. I love this quote. It's spot on. And a good reminder too - EVERYTHING matters to my three year old and I need to keep reminding myself of that! I have linked to this from my blip yesterday - http://www.blipfoto.com/entry/1941952, and I'm just about to print it out :) I hope you don't mind! xx

  8. I've never seen this in print before, but it's something I believe in and have done since my daughter was first beginning to talk. How very true!

  9. This is such a great quote! We get so busy that you just disregard the little things sometimes, so this would be a great reminder. Hmm, I think I'm going to put this up in my office.

  10. What a great reminder! My sons always want me to listen to them, "let me talk" is what the oldest says. So, so important!

  13. Hi - I just wanted to point something out to you, a website seems to have used your lovely image but taken your blog off it! https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=515633745143111&set=a.125582530814903.9461.120371441336012&type=3&theater. I only noticed this funnily enough because I had been admiring your image myself on Pinterest only yesterday and then I saw that they had posted it but without your blog which I thought was not fair.
    Kind regards
    Jill
